Tubbease Hoof Sock

Tubbease Hoof Socks provide the ultimate solution to a variety of common hoof ailments

Laminitis, Abscess, Seedy toe, Thrush, Thin soles and compromised or damaged hooves.

The PVC-molded sock allows the use of a variety of remedies and can also be used over hoof wraps and dressings 
or additional protection and cleanliness in wet or muddy conditions.

The EVA Sole Insert (sold separately) adds an additional layer of comfort for sensitive soles
and will relieve pain and also extend the life of your Hoof Sock

Hoof Socks were developed in NZ by farrier Erin Hampson-Tindale

Erin was trying to solve the problem of how to soak or poultice a hoof without 'stewing' it 
as happened much of the time with other regular water-proof boots. 

The Hoof Sock allows a variety of treatments, poultices or bandages can be applied with the hoof,
or liquid treatment* can simply be poured in or over the whole sock once it is on the hoof.

The 'breathability' of the Hoof sock allows the liquid to enter and soak the hoof, but then also to drain and dry out.
Hoof Socks are an excellent vehicle for treatment of injuries and diseases such as abscesses, thrush, seedy toe, thin sole,
cracks and fissures and general deterioration of the hoof.

 HOW TO MEASURE:

Simply measure the widest part of your horse’s hoof sole to select one of the Hoof Sock sizes
Please note: The Tubbease dimensions indicate the maximum internal diameter of the cup not the diameter of the hoof

NB: Hoof Socks should always be secured with the Velcro strap supplied.

A bandage is not suitable or adequate. Replacement straps are available.
